Revolution Dance Center is a dance studio founded in 2017 by Taylor and Sara Johnson and is located in Glencoe, Minnesota. RDC will be offers Recreational classes and competitive teams!
Taylor Johnson grew up in Norwood Young America and began dancing at age 3. She attended dance classes at Metropolitan Dance Alliance in Shakopee, MN, where she practiced, performed and competed in ballet, tap, jazz, and lyrical until she graduated from high school in May 2013. After high school she studied and graduated as a dance major at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, where she learned from highly respected professors including, Joan Karlen, Michael Estanich and Jeannie Hill. While there, she had opportunities to choreograph and perform in semester shows.
Taylor Bachman graduated from RDC in 2022. She is currently studying physical therapy and dance at Minnesota State Mankato. Taylor has been dancing since the age of 3 and has competed in all styles including ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary and musical theater. She has had the opportunity to perform in semester shows and will have more opportunities in the future.
Tiffany Thomas grew up in
Norwood Young America and started dancing at the age of 2. She was at a previous studio for 12 years and for the past 7 years, she has been with Revolution. 5 years as a student and the past 2 as a teacher. She has been trained in and competed in tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary and hip hop. Currently she is a student at Dunwoody college studying Interior Design as well as a Manager at the Norwood Dairy Queen.
Sara Johnson grew up in Norwood Young America and began dancing at age 3. She attended dance classes at Metropolitan Dance Alliance in Shakopee, MN, and at The Dance Academy at Gymnation in Buffalo, MN, where she practiced, performed and competed in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, and hip hop until she graduated from high school in May 2016. She is currently studying as a dance major at the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point, where she is learning from highly respected professors including Joan Karlen, Michael Estanich and Jeannie Hill. She has performed in the semester shows and will have opportunities to choreograph at school.
Jessica Tober grew up in NYA and started dancing at the age of 4. She started competing when she was 10
doing only tap. Later she grew to expand her knowledge and compete in all styles including ballet, jazz, tap, musical theater, contemporary, hip hop, open and lyrical. She danced for Revolution for 7 years and assisted classes. She graduated high school in 2023 and is currently working on getting her certification for basic obedience dog training while working at the studio.
